It was announced that Sentra and DoControl have entered into a strategic partnership to help organizations turn data classification into automated, enforceable security action.
Organizations invest heavily in discovering and classifying sensitive data across cloud and SaaS environments, yet classification alone does not ensure protection. While security teams can identify sensitive data, many lack the ability to operationalize those insights through real-time enforcement and remediation.
The partnership addresses this challenge by enabling organizations to translate context-rich data classification into automated security controls.
Through the integration, DoControl ingests Sentra’s granular data classification labels and uses them as triggers for automated policies and workflows. This allows organizations to automatically enforce access controls, approvals, and remediation actions based on data sensitivity.

For example, when Sentra labels a file as confidential and that file is shared externally, DoControl can immediately detect the classification and trigger an automated approval workflow or revoke external access, ensuring sensitive data is accessed only in accordance with organizational policy.
